One of Shane's best friends with his very cool wife.

One of Shane's best friends and one of my best friends. We thought they looked like brother and sister when they smiled :-)

Two very cool college friends. I'm not putting names on most of these posts if I can help it. I'm paranoid about the internet, I know, but most people who will see this know who they are :-)

The casual after- wedding, after-reception party at the beachhouse my parents rented.

My good friend shows off her bridemaid dress :-)

Andrew and his daughter.

Amber and Andrew with their new daughter.

My husband helps as Andrew changes his new daughter's diaper for the first time.

Another picture of my aunt with her grandbaby.

My cousin with his baby girl.

I love this picture!

My uncle with his grandbaby.

She's just adorable. Her eyes are so gorgeous!

My aunt with her grandchild.

My cousin's baby. She's probably a lot bigger now.

Daddy's little helper, when he was still a kitten. Wow, that was two years ago ... I can't believe it's been that long.

Tee-hee. I love snow. This is last winter before we moved to Carolina. (I crocheted that hat!)

So exahusted ... so much playing left to do ...

My brother, mom and me with my good friend and bridesmaid at the after party on our wedding day.

Me at Madame Tussaud's in London.

Again, my dad, the smoking fairy princess.

My aunt and I send magic brain waves to a passing truck. It sped up, I don't know why.

My cousin's wife, aunt, mom, me, and another aunt on the floor with my (second?) cousin.

My aunt and uncle.

My uncle, the one-eyed princess.

My dad, the fairy princess.

My aunt, mom, other aunt, me and my dad play dress up.

Me with my dad at my aunt and uncle's house. The girls had gone to the mall and found a dollar store with all kinds of fun stuf. Princess wands and tiaras, funny headbands, etc. So we all dressed up outside my uncle and aunt's house and waved to passing cars on a major road. Quite an enjoyable afternoon :-)

Ah, Florida.

I love this man. This is him, at Daytona International Speedway on a recent trip.

What is this stuff? I do not know this "snow."

Our little stinker. His name is Worf, but he only responds to Kitten.

Kevin Smith at his ECU appearance, eating a Krispy Kreme from a box someone in the audience brought him :-) A visit to North Carolina apparently isn't complete with a Krispy Kreme hot glazed donut.

Kevin Smith, when we went to see him a couple of months ago at ECU. We were in the second row, so we had a great view of him the whole time :-)

Me with my grandparents when they came up to visit for a couple of weeks in the spring. As you can see from the beautiful flowering tree behind us in my backyard.

"Turning, turning, turning ..."

Me getting ready to hit the pinata (see last post about the spelling of "pinata"), with Tanya in her rain bonnet behind me :-)

At our Cinco de Mayo party, Shane killed the mighty pinata. (I have no idea how to do the tilde over the "n," so pretend it's there.)

One of the few pictures I like of myself. In Tennessee.

Me with my mom in Tennessee. I can't remember if this is the "Most Photographed Spot in the Mountain (Country?)" or not, but I know we stopped there at one point :-)

Shane and I on the Tennessee vacation we went on with my parents. It was so much fun, and I really did not want to return home and to work.

This is me on our one-year anniversary trip to Wilmington. We took the Dawson's Creek tour (laugh not!), went to the beach, got burned, and stayed in the hotel room a lot ;-)

My mom and dad crashed on the couch during the reception. This is what almost 30 years of married bliss looks like :-)

The mushrooms! Amber begged and pleaded for the stuffed mushrooms my mom had made for our post-wedding reception party, so here they are. Amber even got to enjoy some of them when we packed the food up and took it to the hospital.

Aren't these the cutest baby booties? Again, made by my mom for Amber's baby shower.

The watermelon baby bassinet my mom made for Amber's baby shower, which kinda fell through once Amber had the baby that morning and couldn't leave the hospital. :-)

The three amigos. From left, Colleen, Amber and I have been friends since the sixth grade. Now Colleen is in California, Amber's in Florida, and I'm in North Carolina. Amazing that we were all able to be together for this one day.

Look at how tiny she is next to Andrew's hand!

Me with the baby. Let the womb pains begin!

Andrew with Willow a few hours after she was born. They let us all in the hospital room with Amber and Andrew and the baby, which I thought was odd, but hey, I'm not complaining. I got to hold the baby :-)
